He was a &#8220;warhorse&#8221; running 54 races until his body finally could no longer do it. He never liked to be in the pasture with my other horses and he finally convinced me to let him stay in the barnlot by himself, then the yard, etc. For the past 12 years he is just loose and can go wherever he wants. He is particularly fond of grand-kids and immediately shows up when they come to visit. He adopted a Shetland in the past few years. He is everybody&#8217;s favorite horse ever. It occurred to me recently (2024) that I have not seen him cribb in years.
